# CMC – The Software

Once you’ve received the invitation link, enter it into your browser. This will take you to the Colostrum Monte Carlo page on the Microsoft Store website.

The easiest way to install CMC is to open the page directly in the Microsoft Store. Click **View in Store**, and then open the Microsoft Store when prompted. You’ll see a **Get** button for Colostrum Monte Carlo. Click **Get**, and Windows will download and install the program automatically.

When the installation is complete, the **Get** button will change to **Open**. This indicates that CMC has been installed and is ready to run. Click **Open** to start the program. You can also launch CMC later from the Windows Start menu.

The first time CMC starts, it will complete a few initialization steps and create the files it needs to operate. Once that process is finished, CMC is installed, configured, and ready to use.
