Read This First: How to Post and Tag

Welcome to the Calf Notes Tools Community Forum.

This forum is here to help you get the most out of LPSolve, OsmoCalc, and NASCalf—whether you’re just getting started, troubleshooting an issue, or sharing ideas.

To keep discussions useful and easy to find, please follow the guidelines below when creating a new topic.

How to Post a New Topic

When you create a topic, please include:

    • Which tool you’re using (LPSolve, OsmoCalc, or NASCalf)

    • Your software version (if known)

    • What you expected to happen

    • What actually happened

    • Screenshots or examples, if helpful

Clear topic titles and a short description go a long way toward getting fast, accurate help.

    Suggested Topic Tags (Optional)

When posting, please add one or two tags from the list below.
These help group similar questions and make answers easier to find.

    • install – installation, updates, system requirements

    • how-to – general usage questions or “how do I…”

    • troubleshooting – unexpected behavior or errors

    • bug – suspected software issues

    • feature-request – ideas for improvements or new features

    • data – inputs, file formats, imports/exports

    • results – interpreting outputs, charts, or reports

    • performance – speed, large files, or system-related issues

If none of these fit perfectly, just post your question—tags are helpful, but not required.

    What Belongs Where

    • Forum Topics: questions, discussions, and general feedback

    • Bug Reports: reproducible crashes or errors (please use the Bug Report form)

    • Knowledge Base: step-by-step guides and documentation

Thanks for being part of the Calf Notes Tools Community Forum.
Clear questions help everyone—and often help others who have the same question later.
